of the hundred in said County and sixty of Litchfield, four being Hilliam an alien and a free Nulme white person,
& Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said
William Hulme then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention
made by him before the lolerkefthe Superior Coustfordant Coming
and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to
establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject."
Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: the ads tc passed in addition

that Milliam Hulme
Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,
