Christopher Caffrey\nin said County of Kitehfield, being an alien and a free white \"person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\nis Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said\nCohnstopher made by him before Coaffrey then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nthe Superior bourt. for said booksity\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled -An Actito\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the aets heretofore passed that subject.\")\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: t acts subsequently passed therefor. wourt,\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF Setchfuld\n}\nss.\nthe it Hemembered, That on the\n12 -\nof September\nA. D. 1806, before the\nbl\nday\nSuperior\nCourt, within and for said County,\nlist\na\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nL.S.\nsonally appeared,\nof County, Salistary who was boru in Hildare los. Irreland in\nCohnistopher laffrey\nsaid\naged about\n350\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to\nVictoria / Queen\nof the United Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I,\nMBS.
