in said County of Kitehfield, being an alien and a free white "person,
appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and
is Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said
Cohnstopher made by him before Coaffrey then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention

and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled -An Actito
