293 At soleparion a Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the 4 Tuesday of Lanuary in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Lixty nine PRESENT-HON. Miles thanger the it Remembered, That on the 25" day of March in the of Calebrook year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and lixty num Aicholas deitaboch in said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said licholor Aurthurch then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before two m. Woodsurf art.ank ofth Superior bout for Litchfuld County and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Aetto establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF deterfuld } ss. the it Remembered, That on the 28° day willd of March A. D. 185 , before the Superior Court, within and for said County, the line a having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally appeared, Nicholas tustback alealbook is County, who was born in farlon in said aged about 35 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to the King of Previous of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and belance of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Geo m boodure out Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. lo tane hm Jand Geo. In Woodunft aest. Clerk. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Mcholar tatrbuich animis has resided within the United States five years at least, In avil miltivi and in the State of Connectient one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral charaeter, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. the said Nichales Lultburch having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and Great Britain and Ireland of whom, he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, particularly to the King of Premin of the United Kingdohr of that Nicholar but brock be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. mill
