    "ocrText": "At a Superviso Court, holden at\n307\nLitchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of\nConnecticut, on the\nhundred and Suthymine\n4 Tuesday of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight\nPRESENT-HON Miles Ingranger judge\nthe it Remembered,\nThat\non\nthe\n2.5 day of March\nin the\nof Golhew\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and\nSufty nume Sampson siddle\nin said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said\nSurprow siddel then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade by him before\nCountry\nthe clusk ofth Supers lemt ford\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled An Actito\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nTo\ndill\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF Sunfind\n/\nss.\nthe it Remembered, That on the\n12th day\nCluk of the Susur Court, within and for said County,\nof this\nA. D. 1859 before the\nJune\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nsonally appeared, Samprar siddle\nof Tocurtyn\nin said\nCounty, who was born in\nYuk chine England\naged about 29\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poteu-\ntate, State and Sovereiguty, whatever-and particularly to\nbme\nMetrice Seven\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, 7unk D Berman\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. en To bitt\nFuck: D Buman Clerk.\nAnd to\nit appearing the satisfaction of the Court, that said Sampano Liddle has resided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\nevil\nand in the State of Connectieut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said Sampron Liddle having declared that he\non oath, would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to bethe hum\nof the United Kingdom of\nthat dampson dedden\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.\nastata"
