At a Superviso Court, holden at 307 Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the hundred and Suthymine 4 Tuesday of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight PRESENT-HON Miles Ingranger judge the it Remembered, That on the 2.5 day of March in the of Golhew year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Sufty nume Sampson siddle in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said Surprow siddel then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before Country the clusk ofth Supers lemt ford and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled An Actito establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: To dill STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF Sunfind / ss. the it Remembered, That on the 12th day Cluk of the Susur Court, within and for said County, of this A. D. 1859 before the June having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- sonally appeared, Samprar siddle of Tocurtyn in said County, who was born in Yuk chine England aged about 29 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poteu- tate, State and Sovereiguty, whatever-and particularly to bme Metrice Seven of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, 7unk D Berman Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. en To bitt Fuck: D Buman Clerk. And to it appearing the satisfaction of the Court, that said Sampano Liddle has resided within the United States five years at least, evil and in the State of Connectieut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Sampron Liddle having declared that he on oath, would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to bethe hum of the United Kingdom of that dampson dedden Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. astata
