James Phelps Judge the it Remembered, That on the of year of our Loord one, thousand eight hundred Masbergen in said white person, County and histority of Litenfield, Frank being an alien and/a free day of in the appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and Frank Dagnan then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention a Clerk and Sean. and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said made by him before the blerk ofthe Superior and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actto establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF Setchfield ss. the it Remembered, That on the 12" day of A. D. 180 8. before the 101 Court, within and for said County, 194 lave helpded having Common/] Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally of County, hashington who was, born in bannoughtlea in said appeared, Frank Dagran Ireland. aged about 34 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prinee, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria Dueen of of whom he is now a Where- the United subject. In Testimony Know of Great and Ireland, of, I, Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and aforesaid. 1100 year Ransom- odf lo Jand Clerk. within the United States five years at least, And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Thank Daguam has resided nidsiwi bine and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. How nod And the said Frank Dagnan having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all and to wiy foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Turn of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject.
