    "ocrText": "327\nAt Superved Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of\nConnecticut, on the\n41\nTuesday of gunnay\nin the year of our Lord one thousand eight\nhundred and & seventy\nPRESENT- Hon. gannes Phelps Judge\nthe it Remembertò, That on the 22\"\nday of March\nin the\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and\nEdmund Dillan\nof North\nbanaan in said of Litekfield, being alien and free white person,\nan a\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of (Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said\nEdmund Dillan then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade by him before the Superior Courteful\nsbom\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Act\nto\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF ;\nNo\nss.\n10\nthe it That on the\n6\"\nday\nof February\nA. D. 1868 before the\nma\nSuperior\nCourt, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nL. S.\nsonally appeared, Edmund Dillar\nof No folk\nin said\naged\nCounty, about who was 53 born in Kerry years, County and on oath did Irland declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to\nPictoral Deven\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, William\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nmill 3n han\nClerk.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Edmund Dillan has resided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\nau avil pidaiw\nand in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said Edmund Dillan\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to Victoria genew\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. i It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat Edmind Dillan\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.\nOSTIVO sut lo assiNo"
