346 At Empirer Court, holden at Litchfreld, in and, for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the 310 Tuesday of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy Origin Sesenom yuage on 8n day of October 11 the it Remembered, That the in the year offour Lorg one thousand eight hundred and seventy William alien and fallen free of appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and Esalisting in said County of Litebheld, being an a white person, Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Milliam Fallen then exhibited Certificate of the declaration of intention to the Court a made by him before and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows STATE OF CONNECTICUT, County OF Sitchficle ss. the it Remembered, That on 16' the day of A. D. 1800 before the Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally appeared, Milliam Fallen of Salisbury in said aged County, about who was 33, born in galway years, and County on oath did declare that Irrland. it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria bucn bun of the United kingdom of Great Britain and Irelany, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, bink onli lo bird bm and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. Clerk. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said William Fallen has resided within the United States five years at least, avil botinU adi and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as à man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution ofithe United States, and well to the good order and happiness of the same. llow bas , batiall hoo And the said Fallen having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Pectoria Luin of the United Kingdom of Great Britajn and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject.
