year ofour Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy, Patrick bomors
in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person,
in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and
ih Clerk and Seal, and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said
Patnek Commors
then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention
made by him before
and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to
establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject."
Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:

years, and on oath did declare that
it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE
UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-
tate,
State
and
Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria Turen
of the In Testimony Where-
of,
I; United Kiscodom ex Groat/Britain and Ireland, of whom he Clerk is now of said a subject. Court,
have hereunto set my
hand,
and Seal of the said Court,
the day and year aforesaid, with
Clerk.
And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Patricklormors has resided
within the United States five years at least,
and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years
he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the
United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.
And
the
said Patrick Comors
having declared on oath, that he would support
the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce
and abjure all allegiance foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and
particularly to
and to ane Quien
of the United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Ireland, of whem he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,
that
Patricklormor
be, and he was accordingly admitted
to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
