379 At'a Stephenin Court, holden at Litehfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the to Tuesday of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy and PRESENT-HON the it Remembered, That on the 25 day of Mearula in the year Antoth of our Lord one bas thousand eight hundred in said and seventy alien thinderstary and a free 1699 of County of Litehfield, being an white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. D. 183 before the bias sol Superior Court, within and for said County, 194 Jank il two having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally appeared, of Nerfolk in said aged about development years, and on oath did declare that County, who born in Commony was it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to of the-United Kingdom of Groat Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. And the said form having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Grand Dukail Buckn of United Kingdom-e Great- Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject.
