And the said\nfourth by him /mall before\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade\n\"he dafenior\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Actito\ndail County\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\n16\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF COMNECTICHT\nCOUNTY OF ss.\nLitchfiel'\nHe it Remembered, That on the\n21st\nday\nof November\nA. D. 1866, before the\nbine\nInterior\nCourt, within and for said County,\n-\nhaving Common Laxy jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nsonally appeared,\nL.S.\nof\nHanvinton\nBelgium\nin said\nCounty, who was born in\naged about 44\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nwht\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and partigularly\nbas\nthe Ring of Beljuin\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Irclande of whom he is now a subject.
