And the said fourth by him /mall before then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made "he dafenior and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actito dail County establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." 16 Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF COMNECTICHT COUNTY OF ss. Litchfiel' He it Remembered, That on the 21st day of November A. D. 1866, before the bine Interior Court, within and for said County, - having Common Laxy jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- sonally appeared, L.S. of Hanvinton Belgium in said County, who was born in aged about 44 years, and on oath did declare that wht it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and partigularly bas the Ring of Beljuin of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Irclande of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, hm LKKnson Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. bine mili 16 bne ,beed hm L.Ranson Clerk.
