And the said\nPatrick Me play\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade by him before but. Cluk 1th- Rupenor bount for Childhfuld County\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Actio\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF LiTchful\n}\nss.\nthe it Remembered, That on the 23\nday\n(T.A\nof March\nA. D. 184 before the\nGio he woodsett Out clut of the depe Court, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdietion, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nL.S.\nsonally appeared, latench murphy\nof\nin said\nCounty, who was born in Keony co Ineland\naged about 22\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prinee, Poten-\ntate, gues\nState and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.
