Origin Seymour judge\nthe it\nThat\nthe\n230\non\n,day\nof Mearch\nin the\nof year Washington of our Lord qne thousand eight hundred and seventy two, John\nSudgati\nin said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\nClerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\nJennifer\na/ made by\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nhim before Superior\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Aetto\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nla\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF sitchfill }\nss.\nthe it That on the\n22c\nvab\nof Mearch\nday\neill 8081 a\nA. D. 1831, before the\nvimio) biss 101 bas milliw\noupenir\nCourt, within and for said County,\nIl dilw having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nL.S.\nsonally appeared, Johns dudgator\nof look leo, Ireland in\nMashington,\nsaid\nCounty, who was born in\naged about 52 years, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prinee, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.
