appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and
a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said
Millam Duckland
then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention
made by him before,

and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled *An Actio
establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject."

within the United States five years at least,

he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the
United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.

the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce
and abjure all allegiance aud fidelity to any forgign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and
particularly to
Oldona Thun
of the United Kingdom of
Great subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,
that
Britain William and Ireland, of auckland whom he, was before
be, and he was accordingly admitted
to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
