And the said Michael him Davey before then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention obam made by the Superior loust for addenity and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." D. before the Superior Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally appeared, John Davy of Sorrington England in said County, who was born in aged about 39 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Vectoria Dueen bun of the of Graat Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.
