    "ocrText": "452\na Supering Copprt, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State\nof\nConnecticut, on the 4th three Tuesday of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight\nAt\nhundred and Seventy\nPRESENT-HON.\nthe it Remembered, That on the 22nd day of March\nin the\nyear ofour Lord one thousand eight hundred and severety three Pryan stagins\nof Salisbury\nin said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free White person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law.Jurisdiction, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\nmage Bryan by him staging before the blend of the Superior Court within\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nand for said County.\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Actto\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF Sitchfills ss.\nthe it That on the 22nd\nday\nof\nOctober\nA. D. 1930, before the\nblenk of the Superior Court, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nsonally appeared,\nL. S.\nBryan Hagins\nof Salisbury\nIreland\nin said\nCounty, who was born in\naged about 23\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to\nVictoria Luven\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, Mm S. Ransom\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\noif\n16\nBifil\nHm Ransom Clerk.\nwithin And it the appearing United to States the satisfaction five years at of least, the Court, that said Bryan Hagins has resided\nand in the State of Connectieut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said\nBryan Hagniss\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITEB STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to\nVictoria Even\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat Bryan Magans\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES."
