452 a Supering Copprt, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the 4th three Tuesday of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight At hundred and Seventy PRESENT-HON. the it Remembered, That on the 22nd day of March in the year ofour Lord one thousand eight hundred and severety three Pryan stagins of Salisbury in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free White person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law.Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said mage Bryan by him staging before the blend of the Superior Court within then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention and for said County. and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actto establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF Sitchfills ss. the it That on the 22nd day of October A. D. 1930, before the blenk of the Superior Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- sonally appeared, L. S. Bryan Hagins of Salisbury Ireland in said County, who was born in aged about 23 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria Luven of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Mm S. Ransom Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. oif 16 Bifil Hm Ransom Clerk. within And it the appearing United to States the satisfaction five years at of least, the Court, that said Bryan Hagins has resided and in the State of Connectieut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Bryan Hagniss having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITEB STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria Even of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that Bryan Magans be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
