    "ocrText": "481\nAt a Quperion Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of\nhundred PRESENT-HON. miles Topengin failyn\nConnecticut, and on revents the 4 forg it, Tuesdoy of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight\nthe it Remembered, That on the 16th march\nday of\nin the\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and tenants form Patrick Rs by\nof\nNorth Ceaman in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\nPatrick riley\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade by him\nthansachusette before The Suferior Count for Birkihise Cec\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Actito\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the aets heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows\nBirkihise himit\nss. Superior Cometines Tem1871\nthe it Remembered, That on\nthe\n20th\nday\nof Juliy taking Court, within A. and D. 18.7 for said , before County, the\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nL.S.\nsonally appeared, patnek Miles\nof shefrice man\nin said\nCounty, who was born in Counts they reland\naged about years, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to\nVictoria Grown\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof,\nI, fund W Taft\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nHurry W. Taft Clerk.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Patness Riley has resided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\n,tanal svil\nand in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nHew\nAnd the said Patrick Rilen\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to Dictoria Quner\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat the levid Patrick Kiley\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.\nsill\n10"
