At a Priferion Court, holden at Litchgield, in and for County of Litchfield, 508 the in the State of hundred Connecticut, and on seventy the four Tuesdag of January in the year of our Lord one thousand han eight PRESENT-HON miles of Grange Judye the it Remembered, That on the 16th day of march ,in the of /rinchester year of your Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy four Edward Hafle in said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said Edward taffer then exhibited the Court Certificate of the declaration of intention to a made by him before the clerk for Court and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actito establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject."
