Park judge\nthe it Rememberrà, That on the 24\nday of September\nin the\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty Dix. Miles\nof Wuichester\nin said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\nmade by him ellc before crayak D B uman Court cleek Certificate of the of the declaration County of Court intention\nthen exhibited to the a\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Actto\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nss.\nCOUNTY OF ditchfield\nthe it That on the 31\nday\nof January\nA. D. 1853, before the\nFud K Biernan clerk of th loun Court, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nL.S.\nsonally appeared, liles Me clary\nof Winchester\nin said\nCounty, who was born in blaw bo Ireland\naged about 25-g\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria\nDeem\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, Fredk D. Buman\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. la bas\nFredeick l Rennew\nClerk.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said\ndecetary has\nresided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\nand in the State of Connectieut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. llow une\nAnd the said be Nany\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to Victoria green\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat said Miles the crary\nbe, and he was accerdingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES."
