83 n the is At a Supperior Court, holden qt Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the 20 Tuesday of april in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five year PRESENT-Hon Joel Hemman judge Be it Remembered, That on the , 12 day of april in the year ed in of plied of North banaan our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sufty five Willian basey in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. h an And at the time of his said application, and of his admission as a citizen of the United States, as hereinafter specified, 802; the said William basey declared on oath, in open Court, that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatsoever, and particularly to Victoria Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ireland, of whom he has been hitherto a subject. made And further declared on oath and proved to the satisfaction of the Court, that for the three years next preceding, it has been bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States. And it being found by is a free white male person, of lawful age, that he was born in the said Court that the said Millians Ireland lousey and is aged about twenly eight year And to said it appearing the satisfaction of the Court, that William bosey has resided within the United States five years at least, including three years next preceding his arrival at the age of twenty-one years, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. ithin And the said Milliam boxy having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance rs he and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to well Victoria becom t the iance of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a fore a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that said William basey be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. Clerk.
