241 Al a Superior Winchester Court, holden at Litchfrell, in and for the County uf Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the First Tuesday of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight PRESENT-HON. augusture H. 'tenn. Judge Be it Remembered, That on the sixth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight, Timathy lerasin of Winchester in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Tenalty become then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before win F Hurebut Clerk of the Camt of Camman Plear far hitelified Country. and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802; and the acts passed subsequently thereto, to wit : United states of american State of leannecticut, Be it Remembered That the following persons each for himself an the day and date set against his name, appearance before the Clerk of the Court of leamman Pleas, for the country of Litchfield, mithin said County the said leannt being a learnt of Recard, having Cammon have junic diction, and a lelerts and Seal, and each declared on wath that it was bana fide his intention to became a citigen of the United state, and to renamee or ever all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Patentate, state or Saversignty whatever, and particularly to the Prince, Palintati, state or Saversignty set against his name of which he has hitherto been a subject Name Timathy leramm, Resident of Winchester m Butchfuld learnty learn. Date Sept. 1. 1886. Subject of the government of great Britian. In Testimany whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Seal of the said Court of camman Pleas at Winchester this get day of September A.W. 1886. wm of Neurobut Clerk (Seal) the United States five years at least And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Temantry brown has resided within and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Simathy brown having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Vectoria Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that said Investing lerverin. be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. Clerk.
