    "ocrText": "255\nAl a Superior\nCourt, holden at Eitchfielt, in and for the County uf Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the\nfirst Tuesday of October\nPRESENT-HON Dugustus Me Fenn Jusige\nin the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eightyeeg\nBc it Remembered, That on the seventeenth\nday of October\nof our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty ught games Me learrall\nin the year\nof Sorrington\nin said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in\nopen Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied\nto be admitted to become United States. And the said games Me learroll\na citizen of the\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before um F. neurobut\nlelerk of the leavert of learman Pleas.\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Act to establish an\nuniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\" Approved 14th of April, 1802;\nand the acts passed subsequently thereto, to wit:\nUnited States of America State of leamnettat, Be it\nRemembered, That the following persans, each for himself an the\nday and date Ret against his name, appeard before the lelerle of the\nleaunt of leamman Pleas, farther County of within said\nleaunty. the said leaunt being a leaunt of Recard, having leamman\nLaw juriediction, and a lelesh and Seal, andeach declared an oath\nthat it bona fide his intention to became a citizen of the United\nStates. and to forever all allegiance and finality to any\nForeigen Prince, Patentate State, or Someresgity whatever, and\nparticularly to the Prince, Patentate State or Saverignty set against he\nname of which he has hitherto beena subject Name games Me. learroll\nResident of Tarrington in butdfuld leaunty. learn Date Oct. 16. 1886\nI have hereanto set my hana and affixad the seal of said leant\nSubject of the government of great Britian . In Testeriary Wheref\nof leamman Pleas at Winchester this 16th day of October AD. 1886.\nump. reurlbut.\nlelerk\n(Sial)\nthe five years at least\nUnited And States it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said games Me learroll\nhas resided within\nand in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he\nhas behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well\ndisposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said fame Me. learrall\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support the\nCONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance\nand fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to\nVictoria Queen\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ireland, of whom he was before a\nsubject. and It was therefore considered by the Court, that said James Me learrall.\nbe, he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.\nClerk."
