279 At a Superior Court, holden at in for the County uf Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the first Tuesday of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight PRESENT-HON augusture He Henn. Judge Be it Remembered, That on the seventeenth day of October of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight. Meichael Me ongan in the year of Jarrington in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Meichael Reogan then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before wm F neurobut lelerk of the learnt of leamman Please and required hs the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802; and the acts passed subsequently thereto, to wit : United States of america. State of leannectect Be it Remembered, That the following persons each for humalf an the day and date set against his name appeared before the blerk of the learnt of le amman Please, for the leaunty of Litchfield mithin said baunty, the said learst being a levert of Recard having leamman han furnsalition and a leleste and Seal, and each declared an oath that it was bana from his intention to became a citigen of the United States, and to meame forever all allegiance and finality to any Foreign Prince Potentate state as Surrignty whatever and particularly to the Prence Potentale State as someinenty set against his name of which he has hishesto been a subject. Name Meicheal Neveran Resident of Jarrington in Lictefield Ceanty learn Date Oct. 16th 1886. Subject of the government if is great Britian In Testanary Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and officer the seal of said learnt of leamman Please at Winchester this 16th day of October A.D. 1886. um of developet lelerk. (Seal) the United States five years at least And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said lichael He ogan has resided within and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Meichael Meagan having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that said Meichal devgan. be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. Clerk.
