397 Winchester Al a Superior Court, holden at Litchficial in and for the County uf Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the First Tuesday of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety six PRESENT-HON. Ralph wheeler judge Be it Remembercò, That on the 17 th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety six Charles Olson of Jorrington in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in of open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied of to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said bharles Olson o then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before the blerk of the to bourt of Common Pleas for the county of dartford and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802; tl and the acts passed subsequently thereto, to wit: United States of America Bi it remembered That the following named persons, each for himself on the day and date sitagonist his name, appeared be for the bourt of Common Pleas holder at Hartford within and for the bounty of Hartfard, the said bourt being a bourt of Record, having exach Common Law jurisdiction and a blenk and seal and declared on oath that it was bona fide his intention forever to become a citizen of the United States and to unourice all allegian all and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate State, or sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Prince, Potententate State or sovereignty set against his name, of which he has hithutobeen a subject Name Resident of Date subjected govern ment of bhailes Olson Burlington in October 25,1892. And the said Chackes Olson having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance of Sweden and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the goven ment of United Kingdom of Groat Britian and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that said bhailes Olson be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. Clerk.
