    "ocrText": "397\nWinchester\nAl a Superior\nCourt, holden at Litchficial in and for the County uf Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the\nFirst\nTuesday of October\nin the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety six\nPRESENT-HON.\nRalph wheeler\njudge\nBe it Remembercò, That on the\n17 th\nday of October\nin the year\nof our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety six Charles Olson\nof Jorrington\nin said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in\nof\nopen Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied\nof\nto be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said bharles Olson\no\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before the blerk of the\nto\nbourt of Common Pleas for the county of dartford\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Act to establish an\nuniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\" Approved 14th of April, 1802;\ntl\nand the acts passed subsequently thereto, to wit:\nUnited States of America\nBi it remembered That the following named persons, each\nfor himself on the day and date sitagonist his name,\nappeared be for the bourt of Common Pleas holder at Hartford\nwithin and for the bounty of Hartfard, the said bourt being a\nbourt of Record, having exach Common Law jurisdiction and a\nblenk and seal and declared on oath that it was bona\nfide his intention forever to become a citizen of the United States\nand to unourice all allegian all and fidelity to any\nForeign Prince, Potentate State, or sovereignty whatever,\nand particularly to the Prince, Potententate State or sovereignty\nset against his name, of which he has hithutobeen a subject\nName\nResident of\nDate\nsubjected govern ment of\nbhailes Olson\nBurlington in\nOctober\n25,1892.\nSweden.\nthe County of Herlfud.\nbitk\nIn Testimony Whereof I have herenuts set my hand and affired the\n/ seal )\nseal of said bount of bommon thas, this 25th day of October in the\nyear of our For a one thous and eight hundred and ninety two,\nCharles E Fellowes, blenk\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said to hurles Olson\nhas resided within\nthe United States five years at least\nand in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he\nhas behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well\ndisposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said Chackes Olson\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support the\nCONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance\nof Sweden\nand fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the goven ment\nof United Kingdom of Groat Britian and Ireland, of whom he was before a\nsubject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that said bhailes Olson\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.\nClerk."
