1105 Ninchester Al a Superior Court, holden at Litchfichi, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the First Tuesday of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety Six PRESENT-Ho: Raeph wheeler judge Be it Remembered, That on the 24th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety six games bullen of Torrington in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in open to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said games bullen Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before the blerk of the bourt of bommon Pleas within and forther County of Litchfield and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802; and the acts passed subsequently thereto, to wit : United States of America state of Connecticut. Be it remem bered That the following persons, each for himself, on the dayand date set against his name appraud before the bleck of the bount of Common Pleas, for the bounty of Sitchfield, within said County. the said bourt being a bourt of Record having Common law purisdictions, and a bleek and Seal andeach declared on oath that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United States and tormounce fore over all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate State or sorreignty whatever, and particularly to the Poince, Potentate state or Sovereign ty set against his name of which he has hithuto been a subject. same Rendent. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said games bullen has resided within the United States five years at least and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said James bullen having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ircland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that said games bullen be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. Clerk.
