    "ocrText": "1105\nNinchester\nAl a Superior\nCourt, holden at Litchfichi, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on\nthe\nFirst Tuesday of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety Six\nPRESENT-Ho: Raeph wheeler judge\nBe it Remembered, That on\nthe\n24th\nday of October\nin the year\nof our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety six games bullen\nof Torrington\nin said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in\nopen to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said games bullen\nCourt, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before the blerk of the\nbourt of bommon Pleas within and forther County of Litchfield\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Act to establish\nan\nuniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\" Approved 14th of April, 1802;\nand the acts passed subsequently thereto, to wit :\nUnited States of America state of Connecticut.\nBe it remem bered That the following persons, each for himself, on\nthe dayand date set against his name appraud before the\nbleck of the bount of Common Pleas, for the bounty of Sitchfield, within\nsaid County. the said bourt being a bourt of Record having Common\nlaw purisdictions, and a bleek and Seal andeach declared on\noath\nthat it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United\nStates and tormounce fore over all allegiance and fidelity to any\nForeign Prince, Potentate State or sorreignty whatever, and particularly\nto the Poince, Potentate state or Sovereign ty set against his name of which\nhe has hithuto been a subject.\nsame\nRendent.\nDate\nsubject of the gover nment of\ngames bullen\nminchester\nOctober 22\n1894\nGreat Baitain\nage 22\nIn witness Whereof l have hereants set my hand and officed\n(seal)\nthe seal of said bourt of Common Heas, at ninchester this\n22nd day October A. &. 1894\nWheaton F fourd Assit black.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said games bullen has resided\nwithin\nthe United States five years at least\nand in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he\nhas behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well\ndisposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said James bullen\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support the\nCONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance\nand fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the government\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ircland, of whom he was before a\nsubject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that said games bullen\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.\nClerk."
