in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in
open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied
to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Francis
Kelley
lemmen Pleas of the City of new yuh march 21. 1853 /
then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before the General
and required as the first condition according to the first séction of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an
