60 Al a Supervisor Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the 2 Tuesday of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sifty PRESENT-HON. brigon S. Seymour Gudge Be it Remembercò, That on the zo day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty Robert drwin of bornwall in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Robert drwin then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before the bount of Common Plead for the City bounty of New York and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802; and the acts passed subsequently thereto, to wit: State of hew York In the bount of Common thas it is bonu fide my intention whecome a britinen of the United Pleas forthility Bennity of hew York. d Robert Dswin do declare on outh States. to renounce forever all allegiance fidelity to any foreign Prince. Potentale. Station Soringitation particularly th the been of United Kingdom of speat Britain of Areland of whom I am now a subject. Sworn this 24th day of October 1853- to best Anoin blesk. for the City bounty of New York. d certify that the foregoing is blesks office bourt of Common Pleas of record in my office In witney when of A have herennts a true coppy of are original relaration of destintion remaining surpressed my hame of afficted the seal of Avid bourt this 25th day of October 1858 A Georgia for blerk. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Robert druin has resided within the United States five years at least and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Robert drwin having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria been of the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that said Robert Inwin be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. Clerk.
