Be it remembered, That
of the town of Similary in said County of Harlford
John bookins
but late of the Kingdom of Great astitain and
a'peared in the lounty
Court held at Hariford, on the 20th day of August 1831 (the said
Court being a Court of Reccrd, having a common Inv jurisdistion, and a
Elerk and Seal.) and declared on oath in open Court, that it was binafide
his intenlion to become a citizen of The United States,
and to renounc3 for ever, all allegance and fidelity to any foreign
State or Sovereignty whatevers and
particularly to the King of the Kingdom of Great Britain and
Irelands
