COUNTY OF HARTFORD.
}ss. ss. Heartfore
it temembered,
That fihe busing
of Carlford County of
in said Hartford, but late of the United
Kengdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before the County
Court for said County of Harlford, held at Hartford, in said County, on the
eleventh day of December
in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and forty two the said Court being a Court of Record, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on oath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State,
or Govereignty whatever, and particularly to lictric
Queen of the United Kingdom of Preat Britain and Ireland.
IN TISTIMONY WHERLOF I have hereunto set my hand
and afficed the Seal of said County
Court this eleventh day of
December in the year of our Lord,
