County of Hariford.
Be it Roemembered, That Patrick Delaney
of Similtury
in said County of Hartford, but late of the
United Kingdom of Great Pritain and Ireland. appeared before the
County
Court for said County of Harlford, held al Hartford,
in said County, on the 28th
day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine
,
the said Court being a Court of Record, having common Law jurisdiction, and
a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on cath in ofen Court, that it was bona fide
his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all
allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty
whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen
of the United Chaingdom of Sreat Britain and Ireland.
