COUNTY OF HARTFORD.

it temembered, That
Bemard Dun
of East"Hindsor in said Counly of Hartford, but late of the United
Kengdom of Great Britain and Freland, appeared before the County
Court for said County of Harlford, held at Hartford, in said County, on the
elc with day of August the year of Lord
in our one thousand
eight hundred and forty , the said Court being a Court of Record, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on oath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all ablegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, Stale,
or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Lunn
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand
and afficed the Seal of said bounty
Court this eleven the day of
August in the year of our Lord,
one thousand eight hundred and forty.
