Edward Effecries
County of Hartford,
De it That
Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before the Superior Court for said County of Hartford
held at Hartford, in said County, on the Twenty Eighth day of Octiber
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Fifty the said Court being a
Court of Record, having common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on
oath in open Court, that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United
States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate,
State, or to
Sovereignty whatever, and particularly Victoria 2ncend
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
