Martin Conway
late of the UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND, appeared in the
Starine of the Sity of held in the City Hall of the said City,
on
the tecenteenth day of augustin the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and forty Three
/the said Court being a
Court of Reecord, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal.) and
declared OATH, in open Court, that it was bona fide his intention to become a
Critizen
of the Cnited States, and to renounce, forever, all allegiance and fidelity
to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty, whatsoever and particularly
to the Queen of the United Hingdom of Great Britain and Freland.
Gestimony the SEAL of the said MARINE COURT of
the City of New York is hereunto afficed, this Seventeenth
day of August in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight she e and of our Inde:
