COUNTY OF HARTFORD.
it it remembered, That Hough book
of Enfeeld
in said County of Hartford, but late of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before the County
Court for said County of Harlford, held at Hartford, in said County, on the
24th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and 42
, the said Court being a Court of Record, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on oath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all ablegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, Stale
or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria Deem
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
