That clohn Stannid County of
Hartford,
it Rememberto,
of C Hartford
in said County of Hartford, but late of the United Kingdom of
Great Britain land Ireland, appeared before the country Court for said County of Hartford,
held at Hartford, in said County, on the Fifteenth day of e August
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five the said Court being
a
Court of Record, having Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal, and declared on oath in
open Court, that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce
forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatever, and
particularly to
pictoria Lueen
of the up 2/ K lingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
An testimony I have hereunto set my hand
and
affixed the Seal of said County
Court this Fifteenth
