in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fitty two

the said Court being a Court of Record, having common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal,
and declared on oath before said Clerk, that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the
United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate,
State, or Sovereignty
of the United
Kingdom whatever, of Great and Britain particularly and Ircland. to the King of Bavaria
In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed the Seal of said County Court,
