COUNTY OF HARTFORD.

That James Hallan
of Henitford
in said County of Hartford, but late of the United
Kengdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appecared before the Citurity
Court for said County of Hartford, held at Hartford, in said County, on the
turn ty four the day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand
light hundred and forty , the said Court being a Court of Record, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Elerk, and Peal, and declared on oath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and
or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Meteria, Geoun
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Frince, Potentale, State,
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
IN TESTIMONY WHERLOF I have hereunto set my hand
and afficed the Seal of said learnity
