Gront of Heartford Britoin and Iroland, appeared before the in Superior Court for said County of Hartford,
said County of Hartford, but late of the Unitod Kingdom of e Bussia,
held at Hartford, in said County, on the Eighteenth
day of February
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.
the said Court being a
Court of Record, having common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on oath in open
Court, that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all
allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereiguty whatever, and particularly to
Frederick Hilliam, King of Prussian
of the United Kingdom treat Reituin and Ireland.
