late of the UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND, appeared in the
Marine Coner of the City of held in the City Hoall of the said City
on the levely day of april
in the year of our Lord
one thousand light hundred and forty= two - /the said Court being a Court
of Reecord, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal.) and declared
O.V. OATH, in open Court, that it was bona fide his intention to become a sitizen
of the Sinites States, and to renounce, forever, all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign
Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty, whatsoever and particularly to the Lucen
of the United Hingdom of Great Pritain and Freland.
3 Cestimony the SEAL of the said MARINE COURT of the City of
New York is hereunto afficed, this 12
day
of april - in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and forty= two - and of our Independence the sixty= sifth
