COUNTY OF HARTFORD.
be it temembered,
That Thomas Brown
of Hariford in said County of Hartford, but late of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Freland, appeared before the County
Court for said County of Hariford, held at Hartford, in said County, on the
30 day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and 44
, the said Court being a Court of Percord, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on cath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the Stales, and
to renounce forever all ablegiance and fidelity to any foreign Frince, Potentale, State,
or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Diclona I ucew
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF I have hereunto sel my hand
and afficed the Peal of said
