be it rentembered,
That John Allison
of Enfield
in said county of Hartford,
brut late of the Ubnited Kingdom of Great Pritain and Freland, appeared
before the County Court for said county of Hartford, held at Hartford,
in said county, on the turnly of march un the
year of our Lord one thorsand eight hundred and thirty nine
/the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law jurisdiction,
and a Elerk, and Seat,) and declared on oath in open Court, that it was
bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the States, and to re=
nounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Frince, Potentate,
State, or Sovereignty whatscever, and particularly to Victoria a
Queen
