ss.
COUNTY OF HARTFORD.
be it remembered, That
William Aman
of Hartford in said County of Hartford, but late of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before the boun by
Court for said County of Hartford, held at Hartford, in said County on the
turnity fifthday of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand
cight hundred and forty , the said Court being a Court of Record, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on oath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United Ptates, and
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Frince, Potentale, State
or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Hing of Prussia
of United Hingdom of Conal Britain and Ireland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand
and afficed the Seal of said bounty
Court this twenty fifth day of
March in the year of our Lord,
one thousand eight hundred and forty
