Personally appeared
before the said Court Andrews. Anderson
of East Donglas in said District, by occupation a Grinder
an alien and a free white person, and by his declaration in writing, on oath set forth,
That he was born in gottenboug Leveden
on or about the sight
day of April
in the year
of our Lord eighteen hundred and
of fifty that he arrived at
and is now
in about the District of years age;
in about the nineteenth day
the United States of America, on or
of
spice
in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred
and sighly one
; that it then was, and still is, his bona fide
intention to become a citizen of the United States of America, and to renounce forever
all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, State, Potentate and Sovereignty
whatsoever, more especially to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Groat
Britain and Ircland,
Ocean II. King of Leveden & Honway
whose subject he has heretofore been. He therefore prayed, that his said Declaration
and intention might become a record of said Court, agreeably to the laws in such case
made and
Whereupon provided. the Declaration of the said Andrear Anderson
was admitted to become a record of said Court, accordingly.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
the seal of said Court at Boston, this twentystind
hundred and thirteenth year of the Independence of the
day
of October
A.D., 1888, in the one
