Be IT REMEMBERED, That Andrew Davison of Enfield Great Britain in said County of Hartford, but late of the United Kingdom of Great Britain Hartford in and Ireland, appeared before the County Court for said County of Hartford, held at Hartford in said County, on the Eleventh day of November of our Lord in the year of our Lord t of Record, one thousand eight hundred and forty two (the said Court being a Court of Record, t, that it was having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and seal,) and declared on oath in open Court, that it was legiance and bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen and Ireland.
