BE IT That on the thirtieth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-cight John Barrow now of East Windson in said County punty of Hartford, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having common Law juris- juris- diction, and a Clerk and seal,) and applied to be admitted and to become a citizen of the United States. And And the said John Barrow, at the time thon exhibited to the Court a cortificate of the ftho Doolaration of intention made by him before of his said application, and of his admission as a bitizen of the United, as hereinafter specified and required as the first condition according to the first soction of the Act of Congrose entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rulo of Naturalization, and to repeal the passed on that subjoct." Ap proved 14th of April, 1809, as followo: "STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF HARTFORD, €6. Ben REMEMBERED, That itain in said County of Hartford, but late of the Unitod Kingdom of Groat Britain and Iroland, appeared before the Court for said County of Hartford, hold at Hartford in said County, on the day of in the yoar of our Lord ono thousand eight hundred and (the said Court boing a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clork and soal) and declared on oath in open Court, that it was and bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria Queen and.
