BE IT REMEMBEBEDS That on the Eleventh day of Fibruary 3. 18 in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty fine in the John me. bahill of Fermington in said County of Ha of Hartford, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having common Law juris- diction diction, and a Clerk and seal,) and applied to be admitted and*o become a citizen of the United States. And dohn me bahill the sai the said then exhibited to the Court a certificate of the Declaration of intention made by him before the Giberior bourt for Harford Count, Declar on on 7 day of December A. 0.1842 and reo and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled " An Act to establis establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the Acts heretofore passed on that subject." Ap- proved proved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: "STATE OF CONNECTICUT, "STAT COUNTY OF HARTFORD, SS. HarFord December 7 the 1842 " Be IT REMEMBERED, That John me bahill of Be 11 Farmington in said County of Hartford, but late of the United Kingdom of Great Britain " and Ireland, appeared before the Superior Court for said County of Hartford, held at Hartford in " and Ire by adjuriment " said County, on the 7. day of December in the year of our Lord "raid Co 1, one thousand eight hundred and forty two (the said Court being a Court of Record, % one tho " having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and seal,) and declared on oath in open Court, that it was " having 1 bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and bona fid " fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Mictoria, fidelity Queen King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
