    "ocrText": "11\nMarch Term 1847\n29 Be it Remembered, That on the\n29 day of March\nin the year of our Lord the one thousand eight hundred and 47 John thing\nof\nAlernon in County of Solland\nin appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common\nLaw Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States.\nAnd the said King\nthen exhibited to the Court a certifi-\ncate of the Declaration of l'intention made by him before the County Court for Hollandoounty\nholder al yolland in seuce County on the 1845\nas on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \" An\nAct to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved, 14th of April, 1802.\nAnd appearing King\nit to the satisfaction of the Court that the said\nhas resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and\nthat during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the\nConstitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said Thing\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and\nabjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty, whateyer, and\nparticularly to limited\nof whom he was before a subject. It was, therefore, considered by the Court, thankaid\nJohn King\n-\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted to become\na Citizen of the UNITED STATES."
