Unitro States n't At a Superior Court, holden Hartford, at within and for the County of Hartford, in the State of Connecticut, on the Second Tuesday of march in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sity Seventy said Court Present, being Hon. a Court Canarde of Record, having Sanford Law Common jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal. Judge. The following named persons, each for himself, on the day and date set against his name, appeared in open Court and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And each for himself, then exhibited to said Court a certificate of the declaration of intentions made by him before the authority and at the time hereinafter set against his name, as on file, and required as the first condition, according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled 6: An act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the five Acts here- at tofore passed on and that in subject," the State approved of Connecticut, 14th of April, one year 1802. at least, And last it appearing past, and to that the during satisfaction said five of years the Court he has that behaved said applicant as a man has of good resided moral within character, the United attached States to the principles years least, of the last Constitution past, of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said applicant having declared on oath that he would support the Constitution of the United States, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Prince, Potentate, State, Sovereignty and Government set against his name, of which he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court that the said applicant be, and he was accordingly admitted to become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES. Name. Resident of Naturalized.
