Said applicant having appeared before this Court and declared on oath, and proved to the satisfaction of
this Court, that it is and for more than two years, last past, has been his bona fide intention to become a
citizen of the United States and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate,
state or sovereignty, and particularly to Oscar King of the United Klngdom

resided continuously within the United States five years at least, last past, and three years next preceding
