I Isaac Rooff being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he resides at No 12 Beach Street, in Workster State of Conneeticut, Aassachas and is by occupation a dealer mingerste that he is a citizen of the United States of America, and personally acquainted with the above-named applicant for admission to citizenship of the said United States, and has known him for the past five years, to wit, from aug ll 1900 to date 1906 that his occupation is that of quinter and that he resides at No 7 Park ave Street, in W starkary j connectment that he personally knows that the applicant has resided continuously within the limits and under the juris- diction of the United States of Physic America since aug 11, 1900 and continuously within State of Connecticut since 1 qo5 and that during the said time of his residence within the United States and within the State, he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. That in so far as he knows, is informed, or believes, the applicant does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of or affiliated with any organization en- tertaining or teaching such disbelief in or opposition to all organized government, nor does he advocate or teach, theduty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific in- because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entited dividuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized government, An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903.
