APPLICATION OF clementins meotti To be Admitted a Citizen hod-carrier of the United States of America. By occupation Clement meoth being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he is the abgye-named applicant for admission as a Citizen of the United States of America that he was born in Italy on or about the 20 day of Sept in the one year thousand eight hundred and 4/6 and emigrated to the United States, landing at the Port of nevynk in the State of ney. on or about the 8 day of sept A. D. 1898 and that he now resides at No. 120 Winter Street, in New Britain ; that he has arrived at the age of twenty-one years ; that he has resided continuously within the United States since 1896 and continuously within the State of Connecticut since I 898 and that said applicant did on the There day of I 901 before the City Court of declare nis intention to become a citizen of the United States and renounce and abjure all allegiance to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatsoever, etc., as appears by the certificate of the Clerk of said Court, here produced, and said applicant says he is the identical person named therein. Applicant further deposes and says, that he does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of or affiliated with any organization entertaining or teaching such disbelief in or opposition to all organized government, nor does he advocate or teach the duty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Governmet of the United States or of any other organized government, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903. Sworn to before me, this 26th day of September 1903 Applicant. Clerk. Paul anath being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he resides at No. 22 Seymon Street, in neworritains State of Connecticut, and is by occupation a merchant that he is a citizen of the United States of America, and personally acquainted with the above-named applicant for admission to citizenship of the said United States, and has known him for the past fine years, to wit, from game I 898, to 1 that his occupation is that of hod carrie , and that he resides at No. 120 n inter Street, in nuvoritain that he personally knows that the applicant has resided continuously within the limits and under the jurisdiction of the United States of America since 1898 and continuously within the State of Connecticut since I 1898, and that during the said time of his residence within the United States and within the State, he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. That in so far as he knows, is informed, or believes, the applicant does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized goverment, nor is he a member of or affiliated with any organization entertaining or teaching such disbelief in or opposition to all organ- ized government, nor does he advocate or teach the duty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized government, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3. 1903.
